Identifying the issue
The owners had just purchased the building and the current roof system was having a lot of leaks & issues. There was going to be no way to repair the roof, it just needed to replaced overall.
The issue was with the current roof system: Modified Torch with rocks. It is very hard to do repairs. They have lifespans of 25-30 years and once you have reached that timeframe the roof system breaks down. Doing repairs would have only been money down the drain.
The Proposal
The owners wanted to install a 1″ Poly-iso Insulation with a 60 Mil TPO roof system mechanically attached. They also wanted to remove unused units all at once.
HHH Roofing & Construction suggested using a Versico TPO system. VersiWeld® TPO roofing systems are cost-effective, easy to install, and offer outstanding durability and resistance to damage and extreme temperatures. Underneath the TPO would be one layer of mechanically attached 1-inch-thick Versico Polyiso insulation.
The Process
The HHH Roofing crew had to first tackle the extra roof units that needed to be cancelled.

Once the units were cancelled out, the 1-inch insulation was ready to be put on the roof.
The Poly-ISO insulation was mechanically fastened on top of the modified torch roof.
The TPO was then rolled out and mechanically fastened to the insulation.
Finishing off with the minor details such as flashing & Termination Bars
